1) Do you forget that we have a massive budget deficit too? I am sure that you would expect California to make some financial renumeration as part of a contract, but still...
2) What about all of the criminals we have released over the length of your term to ease prison overcrowding? Shouldn't George Kennedy have still been in prison, for example, instead of dating Jennifer Buchanan? Sure, we don't KNOW if he is responsible for Neveah's death, but I think many people think he or his friend, Roy, know something about it.
3) Even if neither of the above 2 points sway your mind, how about the fact that Flint and Detroit are both in the top 5 metropolitan areas for violent crimes, per FBI statistics and that Saginaw and Benton Harbor are even more dangerous, but do not meet the 100k population cutoff? We sure as hell have enough criminals HERE to lock up instead of offering to help another state out, don't you think?
